Do you have a North America Unified Account? Then great news! The Brazilian market has opened up to you.
Amazon announced in April 2024 that eligible ‘North America Unified Accounts’ can expand listings to Brazil and start selling seller-fulfilled orders or remote fulfilment with FBA.
This is great news for those looking to tap into the Brazilian market but found it difficult before.
If eligible, you’ll see Brazil as an option in the store switcher at the top of Seller Central.
What is North America Unified Accounts?
This enables you to manage orders with the U.S, Canada and Mexico, controlling what you sell within these countries from a single interface. This now includes Brazil too!
You can switch between Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.com.mx, and now Amazon.com.br seller tools in Seller Central to list products and manage orders in each store.
What happens if you don’t want to sell to the Brazilian markets?
If you have a North America Unified Account and you don’t want to sell in the Brazil store, you’ll still see Brazil listed in the store switcher – but just ignore this as it’s only there to indicate that you can sell to Brazil, not that you need to.
Are there any rules and regulations you need to be aware of?
You should check the rules and regulations when you do your research into selling in the Brazilian market but when you sell via amazon you will be subject to the Brazil Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement.
Don’t worry, Amazon being Amazon have guides that help you through every step of the way! A couple of handy links –

If you’re interested in the possibility of selling to the Brazilian market, we recommend following a couple of steps first:
1. Check eligibility:
Log into Seller Central and look for Brazil in the store switcher.
2. Research the market:
Before you dive into the deep end, look into the Brazilian consumer market; how are product listings displayed there, are there different USPs, what’s the product demand etc so you can personalise your listings accordingly but also check how the market is to see if it’s worth you selling.
